about us

The rustic pub is well-known for its specialty, the Gersau cheesecake from the steam oven. However, the well-established team around landlady Sonja also conjures up great home-style menus. Take a seat on the small terrace or under the large linden tree. An aperitif or a nightcap is also recommended there in the lounge! 

The Traube is a traditional, cozy restaurant where smaller social events can also be celebrated. Company meals are particularly popular. Many groups combine their excursion with a cheesecake lunch at the Traube.

The restaurant is located in Oberdorf, about 200m from the boat station. You cannot miss it with the original cheese hole paint job! Guests who would like to sit at a round table with Gersau originals are also welcome.
